Proud to be a stay at home mom!

Today is a "stay in pajamas" kind of a day. Bethany and Zachary love to look at the fan. It gives me a break from holding babies!
The swing is also a favorite at our house. It puts them right to sleep!

Cousins

Katie, Randal, Bethany, and Zachary are going to have so much fun growing up together. Katie will be 4 in June, and Randal will be 2. I tried to get a picture of all of them together, but it didn't turn out so well. Here's one of the girls being girly :)

Talkin' Twins

Last night we gave baths to the twins. I also tried spiking Zachary's hair with some gel...I think he needs to grow a little more hair first! My least favorite chore right now is clipping their nails. I try to do it after they eat and they're a little more calm, but a lot of times they end up crying like crazy! Any tips?

These sleep sacks by Halo are the best! They're wearable blankets, and the zipper goes from the bottom up, so it's easy to change them in the middle of the night. I think they might roll over pretty soon. It's fun to listen to them "talk" but I really can't wait for them to start laughing!

Sad News

Yesterday morning my Great Uncle died of a heart attack. He would have been 76 today! This picture was taken last year of my Grandma Billie, Ralene (Val's wife and my Papaw's sister), Papaw, and Val. They were planning a trip to Texas in April to visit family and see the twins. I know he would have loved to meet them. We'll miss you, Val!

I can't believe it's almost February. Where has the time gone? Bethany and Zachary are still sleeping pretty well during the nights. I spend a lot of time watching tv while I feed them, so I'm usually catching up on my shows around 3am. I'm excited for Lost to start next month, and I can't wait to see the Winter Olympics!

Time Flies

What a great birthday weekend! We've been celebrating with family since Friday, and we got to be at my cousins' little boy's first birthday party. We even got a picture of Mason with Bethany and Zachary! I can't believe in just 9 months we'll be doing the same thing for ours. Tomorrow they're 3 months old! Both of them weigh about 12 pounds and are still 22 inches long. I love watching them smile :)
