Nicaragua Trip

Aaron's back from Mision Para Cristo in Nicaragua. I decided I'd share a few pictures I found in their photo gallery. They had a pretty big group go...wish I could have gone too!
Guys getting messy (working on the foundation for a house).

You can see what they're working on in the background.

Aaron was playing catcher, and I believe the Nicaraguans won!

Good Report

My doctor's appointment went very well today! We're still having a boy and a girl, and they're both measuring the same. My mom's still working on their bedding, but I took a picture of the palm trees my dad painted. I think they turned out great! As you can see, Rudy was a big help laying on the floor :) Aaron comes home on Saturday, and I can't wait to see him. I think Rudy will be glad to see him too!

Nursery & Registry

I feel like I've gotten a lot accomplished! The nursery's starting to come together. I found some baby bedding I thought would work with our tropical theme. It's called Sea Life, but then Mom's adding some personal touches to the bumper and dust ruffle using purple and blue border. We painted the walls a light turquoise. My dad's also going to paint some palm trees over by the window. Then while I was registering at Target today, I found these cute monkey pictures I just had to have!
I'll take another picture after Dad's finished with all the painting. My mom and I also registered at Babies R Us, which Aaron helped me start last week. I have another appointment Thursday, so I'll update more then.

Recipe

I'm not going to take credit for this yummy drink because Aaron found the recipe for me! It's the sonic cherry limeade I love...plus you can make it into a sonic sunrise just by adding some oj.
1 (12oz) can Sprite
lime wedges (I cut 1 lime in half)
1/4 cup cherry Juicy Juice
splash of orange juice
So, fill your glass full of ice (I crushed my own in the blender). Pour in 1 can of Sprite. Add juice from the lime wedges. Then add the cherry juice, and if you want a morning drink, add a splash of Minute Maid orange juice. Aaron would be so proud :) He's actually in Nicaragua this week with 19 other people from our church. He'll be back on Saturday just in time to watch fireworks!

Lots to Celebrate

Aaron passed his test!!! Yay :) Now he's a professional engineer! We also celebrated his first father's day, so I gave him something to wear to the hospital in the fall. And tomorrow we'll be celebrating his 28th birthday. Happy Birthday! I'll leave you with a shot of me and the twins...my 4 month belly.

Surprise Reactions

After our appointment last week, Aaron and I went to Target to pick out something to tell our parents the sexes of the babies. We decided on something they could use later on while babysitting! So, we gave them each boy/girl bibs. Here's how they reacted!

Drumroll please...

Introducing Bethany Elaine and Zachary Evan :)
The second picture we got definitely looked like a boy. Our doctor was almost 100% sure, and they were SO active! We also have a dvd of the sonogram but couldn't save it to our computer. I just wanted to share our exciting news with all of you.
