Aloha!

We made it to and from Hawaii, I survived the 8 hour plane ride, and now it's time for pictures. Here are some of my favorites :) I had to take a picture in my swimsuit to show off my belly. We went to the beach almost every day, but I think the highlight of our trip was on Tuesday. Aaron and I found a tour at the ranch where they film Lost...and also many famous movies. You can take lots of different tours, but I think we chose the right one. It was a 2 hour Hummer ride, but our guide made lots of stops to take pictures. My favorite ones are where he used props (like with Hurley and the T-Rex). If you're a big Lost fan, almost all the outside shots are filmed at Kualoa Ranch. Remember when Hurley rides down the hill to start the Dharma van? We rode down the same hill! Anyway, we had a terrific time, and tried to do some different things. Although we did have to stop for some Dole pineapple icecream! Aaron's grandparents were there until Thursday, so they took us to dinner at Roy's, which was very nice. We also found a place where they make really good shaved ice, and on the last day we found a hiking trail to a lighthouse. I tried to make it the whole way, and I think I got through over half of it, but Aaron made the rest of the walk by himself. It was definitely an enjoyable trip and a great way to start the summer! Now it's back to the real world.

Last Minute Randomness

I should be packing, but there's always tomorrow. Here's some "catching up" pictures, and there's more on Christa's blog from when Katie and Mason got to play together. Last week Aaron went fishing with some clients. He caught some big catfish! We got a dvd from the fertility doctor of our last visit, so I thought I'd share an update of the twins! Last, but not least, I was so happy to see Shawn Johnson win on Dancing with the Stars last night!

Busy Babies

Our appointment with Dr. White went very well on Friday. Both babies were moving all over the place, and he said next month we should be able to tell the sexes. We're getting ready to go to Hawaii! We'll leave on Friday and be back the following Sunday. I'm watching the Rangers game at the moment. We've been to a couple of games this season, and since they're doing so good right now, it's even more fun. Plus, I get all my favorite baseball foods like soft pretzels and lemon chills. I'm not really having any cravings...I'm still trying to eat what sounds good. I've gotten addicted to the Sonic Sunrise drinks, which is orange juice and cherry limeade mixed together. It's the best, and that's the only way I'll drink OJ! I've just got to make it through the next couple of days, and then I'll be finished at the preschool for a while. I don't know when I'll be posting again (might be after our trip) so happy summer to all of you.

Quality time with Katie

I've been watching Katie at my parents' house for the past week or so while Bridget's out of town. Well, today I got out my old Strawberry Shortcake toys. She was super excited to play with them (and it was fun for me too). Maybe in another year I can bring out my old Barbie dolls!!!

Magic Pill

Yes, I've lost weight, but I got some medicine to calm my stomach. It melts on your tongue and definitely helps! That's about all the updates I've got right now. I go see Dr. Michael White, my regular OB, next Friday. He has offices in Keller and Grapevine, and we'll deliver at Baylor. I've got to say, Aaron has been so supportive...cooking me whatever sounds good to me at the time. I'm almost through the first trimester. Yay!

Baby Bump

Our last appointment with the fertility doctor went well! We heard the heartbeats and even saw the babies move. According to The Bump, they're almost the size of limes :)Here's my belly shot (which isn't very big). We've got less than 20 days until Hawaii! I so hope my taste buds come back by then. Not much else going on, but I'm sure something will come up.
