Gymbo Time

Yesterday I got to experience my first Gymboree class. It was a lot of fun, and Katie had fun too :) I can't believe she's turning 2 in TEN days!

We're back!

Our cruise was a lot of fun and very relaxing! The first day we went snorkeling in Nassau, and then we spent the rest of the afternoon by the pool. Oh, the first picture is actually from our first night. We went to the show, which was a comedian/magician. I made the mistake of sitting close to the front, and he picked me to come up on stage for a card trick. Our second day in the Bahamas was in Cococay, Royal Caribbean's own island. We bought a couple of souvenirs and tried not to get any more sunburned. The food was of-course good, and we ate a lot of it! All in all, our Memorial Day weekend was a great way to start the summer.

Dancing Champs

Yay...Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas won Dancing with the Stars! I remember watching her ice skate in the Olympics. How cute are they!?
This morning I went to our gym, Fitness 2000, and I got to work out with a personal trainer for free. He showed me all kinds of things to do...now I just have to do them! We leave for our cruise on Friday, so I'll be sure to post lots of pictures when we get back.

Unhappy Ending

Today was Katies's last day of preschool. I love this picture of her on the bounce house slide! I also got a picture of her playing with a telephone (signs of what's to come in her teenage years).
Well, I got a call from the nurse on my way home from work. Our test results came back negative again. I plan to give acupuncture another try, but for now, we're just looking forward to going to the Bahamas next week. It's time for a CRUISE!

Swimming 101

Katie showed off her swimming skills again today! We also got to go in the hot tub, which is nice and warm compared to the pool. Their teacher would blow bubbles in the air while the kids had to float on their backs and watch (Katie loves bubbles). Here we are in the locker room.
When I got home Rudy was being Rudy (barking like a wild dog), so I gave him a bone, which he loves. You can see him protecting his bone in the picture below.Tomorrow is the big day! I go in for my blood test at 8:00 in the morning, but I'm sure I won't hear back from the doctor until later in the afternoon. If it's negative, I'll let y'all know pretty quick. If it turns out to be positive, then I probably won't post on here until we've told our families. Wish us luck :)

Swim Lessons

I got to see my niece, Katie, at her swimming lessons today...I even got in the pool with her. She's had the same teacher at the Southlake Swim Center for over a year, and I was amazed at all the things she could do. Katie can swim under water, jump off the side, "bob" or blow bubbles, and float on her back. I can't wait to go back with her on Thursday, and maybe we can get in the hot tub this time!!!

Rangers Game

One week of waiting down, and one week to go! We went with Aaron's parents to the Rangers game tonight. It was perfect lemon chill weather :) We'll be spending the weekend with our families celebrating Mother's Day. Maybe next year it will have a new meaning to me. We're also going to celebrate my grandparents' 62nd anniversary tomorrow!
This picture was taken two years ago (these are my mom's parents). Aren't they cute?

Band Nerd

Call me a band nerd, but I miss my days in the color guard. I found my old flag and got it out for Katie to see. She kept saying "toss" and then she would clap for me. As you can see from the picture, I think my niece has a future being a flag girl!!! We went to the doctor today for our IUI. We'll find out in two weeks what the results are (think positive)!
