Pictures of the Kids

I know it's been about a week since I last posted.  Sorry!  Anyway, here are some random shots from today.  I found Bethany around 11:30 napping like this:

We've been working on eating out of a bowl with spoons.

Bethany likes to "brush" her own hair.

He's actually been looking at books more but won't sit still to listen very long.

Zachary seems to be admiring his sister.

Just some cute ones of my boys...Zachary AND Rudy!

Stone Wedding

Last night we went to a wedding for a family I spent many years babysitting for...the oldest of four kids got married.  Wow, I'm feeling older every day!  Congratulations to Joshua and Tabitha :)

Here's Jacob, Netanya, Noah, and Joshua before I left for college, and look at them now...

Bucket List

My friend Christi has been following these daily challenges, and the latest one was what do you want to do before you die!?  I had an assignment during my first year of college to come up with 50 goals (my bucket list).  Here's some of them:

1. Ride in a hot air balloon.
2. Travel around the world.
3. Swim with the dolphins.
4. See musicals in New York.
5. Ice skate OUTSIDE.
6. Go to Hollywood and see movie stars :)
7. Ride in a helicopter.
8. Go skydiving.

I've actually checked off about 20 things on my original list (like go to Hawaii, go snorkling, go to a waterfall, go on a cruise, snow ski, and see the White House).  Not too bad!

Chick-fil-A Dinner

We snapped some pictures at Chick-fil-A last night (the most kid friendly place to eat)!

All about the Grandmas

I got to see Grandma Hodges at the nursing home today.  She was getting ready to eat dinner.  Meanwhile, my parents were watching all four grandkids.

My children weren't too interested in taking pictures!

A tip for your closet!

My friend told me about a way to get rid of clothes in your closet.  I just hung up all my clothes backwards (so instead of putting the hangers in like you normally do, turn them around).  Then after a year, or maybe I'll do it when the seasons change again, you take out all the clothes still hung backwards becasue you haven't worn them in that long.  Make sense?

We'll see how well I do...I've already started my pile of clothes to give away.  On another note, what are some of your favorite stores to shop at?  I'm so bored with my wardrobe, and I wish I could have a stylist for one day to show me what looks good.  A girl can dream :)

Teamwork

Aaron took this video a few days ago when I was taking Rudy to get groomed.  He lets Bethany and Zachary out of their "gate" more than I do, so apparently while Aaron was on the computer, he heard them in the kitchen playing with the doggy door (like they always do).  Then he heard Bethany making noises from OUTSIDE!  I watched them in action this past weekend, and Zachary will lift the door flap for her to go out.  What teamwork!

Preschool Program

Before I get to the program pictures, I wanted to share some more cute ones from the park yesterday.

Yummy Cheerios

So, Katie has strep throat and didn't get to perform last night.  Randal, who happens to be one of the oldest in his class, did a great job!  You can see in the video below.

Wagon Workout

It's another beautiful spring day!  We took the wagon to the park at the end of our street and enjoyed swinging for a while.  Then we walked around until my arm couldn't take it anymore.  Pulling them in their wagon is a good workout!

Outside Fun

We went to Granbury last Saturday to visit my grandparents, and even though a cold front came through, we still had fun.  Katie got to practice her fishing skills.

And Zachary watched her from inside.

The sun came out after lunch today, so we headed out for a walk.

Can you tell how sweaty they got?

Look at Bethany's crazy hair!

Cooling off under the fan :)

The People That Make My World Go Round

Today’s Challenge: The People That Make My World Go Round
Of-course I've got many more people in my life that "make my world go round" but without Aaron by my side, I wouldn't be the woman I am today.  He definitely keeps me grounded, and I'm SO happy to be a parent with him.  Zachary is Mr. Serious, a thinker, and learning to do things in his own time.  He makes me laugh, and his giggles definitely make me smile!  Bethany is Miss Curious...she's going to keep me busy for sure.  The best part is when she crawls in my lap to read a book or just cuddle.  I love these guys, and I'm truly blessed to have them in my life!
