Yep, before we left the doctor's office today, they had to take blood to run some tests. It started off okay, but about halfway through I started feeling funny. I knew what was happening (Aaron had never witnessed me fainting before). She asked if I had eaten breakfast, which I hadn't, so she quickly finished and took me to another room to lay down. Anyway, I blacked out before I got to the other room...you can laugh now! We met with nurses, doctors, and of-course the billing department, and we did sign to be in the research study. Here's what you can pray for though: pray for us to get pregnant NOW because even with the invitro study, it's still super expensive! If we do end up doing the IVF, then I'll be taking birth control next month, and the actual procedure probably wouldn't be until March. Oh, and just so you know, they were taking a lot of blood!

It's me again...
Thanks for ALL the birthday wishes! We celebrated with my family Wednesday night, and we're eating dinner with Aaron's family tonight. I babysat my niece and nephew yesterday morning. Katie enjoys being outside and loves using sidewalk chalk. She posed by her name totally on her own!

Here's a video of me tickling Randal!

GHS Alumni
It's the year for Aaron and I to celebrate our 10 year reunion. I can't believe we graduated from high school so long ago! If you graduated with us, check out www.grapevinereunion99.com/. Actually, I can't believe I've known Aaron for 10 years...and we've been together for 6 years! And I can't believe I turn 28 in 2 days :)

Winterfest 2009
Last year we went with our youth group to Winterfest, and this year we got to go again. What was really neat was the worship leader, Andy Spell, was my youth minister in middle school. It was so good to see him! We had a great time.

New Year, New Doctor
I have two stacks of papers sitting in our office. One is for adoption with Children's Hope International, and one is for the Center for Assisted Reproduction. I got up this morning and picked up the second stack of papers. The lady I talked to last summer called me back, and we're set up for an appointment on Tuesday, January 27th at 10AM with Dr. Nackley. Now I just have to finish filling out the paperwork, and it looks like we might actually get in on an IVF study. Wow!

I love my husband!
Thanks for all the anniversary wishes. Aaron got me flowers, a massage (for both of us) and we went to Ruth's Chris for dinner last night. They put hearts on our table, and we got a yummy dessert for free...the best kind!

Rewind to the 80's
When I was a kid we had a german shepherd named, Ashley. For some reason I liked to dress her up. Poor dog! I always knew I was a dog person, so thank goodness Aaron is too!

Black Eyed Peas
Happy New Year, and don't forget to eat your black eyed peas for good luck! I finished the book, Marley & Me yesterday, and then we went to see the movie.
Both were good...I even want to read John Grogan's new book. I will warn you, the story is sad, and you might want to bring some Kleenex with you if you go see the movie!
