Under the weather...

It seems I've got an upper respiratory infection :( The coughing is the worst part! I did manage to get out and take some family pictures earlier this week. The first one is with Aaron's family.
These two are from Thanksgiving day with my family. And since I showed you our tree, I thought you might like to see the outside of our house with Christmas lights.

Happy Holidays

Another season of Dancing with the Stars is over, and I think the most deserving couple won! Now you can vote for the show to win the People's Choice Awards.
Well, our Christmas tree is decorated, and I've got a few presents underneath. Aaron is on the roof putting up lights right now. I can't believe it's almost December! Where has the year gone?

Thanksgiving Feast

Yesterday was Katie's Thanksgiving Feast at the preschool. I got to be there two days in a row, but it was a lot of fun being with my niece. She's quite a character! I tried to get a class picture, which is hard to do with a bunch of two year olds. Kaite was acting silly at lunch, but she ate a lot of her food...and then she got to "play" the violin on stage with the musicians. Just as she got up there to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, my camera completely died! Another teacher let me use her camera, so I missed out on taking a video. O-well! I told Aaron when we have our own kids I'll have to charge our camera every night.

Flash Back

I'm waiting for my camera to charge so I can't get to my pictures right now, but I have an OLD one to share with you. My friend Emily, in the red dress, sent me some pictures in the mail from high school. This is a picture from our prom, and as you can see we're on the left, but our dates are on the right. How funny!!!

Time for an Update

I just thought those of you out there would like an update. I'll start taking the Femara again tomorrow, and then we'll go from there. Anyway, we've been busy lately! This past weekend was our youth group's fall retreat. It was COLD, but I think we all had fun...and thankfully the cabins were heated! Then I was sick when we got back on Sunday, but after sleeping all day and Aaron taking care of me, I'm feeling much better!

Keep your fingers crossed :)

I got the call today from Dr. White's nurse, and my progesterone level was at a 36. Seeing as though it has never been in the double digits, thats' GREAT news. If we have to try again next month, at least we know this medicine is working. Yay!!!

Guns Up!

Even though I didn't go to Texas Tech, I like to think I did. Friday night we hung out with some Tech graduates and friends from church (Mike and Stephanie). We played Guitar Hero Rock Band, and boy was it fun! They have four "instruments" to play, so we rotated between the bass guitar, drums, guitar, and microphone. I liked the singing...it was my first karaoke experience! Saturday morning I had to work at the chiropractor's office. I supported the Red Raiders with my wardrobe. Then Adam and Bridget came over with the kids that night for dinner, and Katie got to spend the night with us! You can see after her bath she watched football with Uncle Aaron and gave a little guns up. We also painted her nails this lovely shade of pink :) Last but not least, I tried to catch Katie singing on the way to church. She loves to sing, and her all time favorite has to be Yellow Submarine by the Beetles.

My Buddy

Why is it we go from Halloween to Christmas and totally skip Thanksgiving? I'm guilty of it too. I've already bought a Christmas CD, but I'm not listening to it yet...okay maybe I've listened to it once! Anyway, I'm at work and extremely bored, so y'all get to read my random thoughts. I go back to Dr. White's office tomorrow for a blood test. Hopefully I'll hear something by Friday to see if the Femara worked (they check my progesterone level to see how high or low it is...mine is usually low, but let's pray this time it's HIGH). Now I'll leave you with a picture of Rudy that was taken a few months ago in Granbury. He's the best dog, we love him so much, and it's especially fun to spike up his hair! Good times :)

Halloween Anniversary

First I must say, it's the one year anniversary of starting this blog. I think the hardest part is coming up with titles. Sometimes I write the whole thing, and then I can't think of a good title! I know the only reason you're here is to see pictures, so here's some from yesterday with my cute ladybug niece and dragon nephew!

At the preschool costume parade.
Trying to get a picture of brother and sister.Trick-or-Treating at Ms. Carrie's house.
Randal asleep while Katie gets candy.
