I can't believe it's almost February. Where has the time gone? Bethany and Zachary are still sleeping pretty well during the nights. I spend a lot of time watching tv while I feed them, so I'm usually catching up on my shows around 3am. I'm excited for Lost to start next month, and I can't wait to see the Winter Olympics!

Time Flies

What a great birthday weekend! We've been celebrating with family since Friday, and we got to be at my cousins' little boy's first birthday party. We even got a picture of Mason with Bethany and Zachary! I can't believe in just 9 months we'll be doing the same thing for ours. Tomorrow they're 3 months old! Both of them weigh about 12 pounds and are still 22 inches long. I love watching them smile :)

Wordless Wednesday

Venturing Out

Poor Zachary has been super fussy while eating lately, so our pediatrician switched him to Enfamil Gentlease formula. I had to pick up a prescription at CVS, and the sweet pharmacy drive thru lady got me a can so we didn't have to get out of the car. He just ate about 4 ounces and didn't fuss at all! Aaron gave Zachary the nickname "scooter" because this is how we find him in his crib from time to time...Bethany likes to stick her tongue out, which cracks us up! Aaron can roll his tongue and I can't, so we're curious to see if one or both of our kids have that talent :)

9 Hours of Sleep

Last night Bethany and Zachary went 9 hours between feedings. Then I managed to feed them at the same time this morning while Aaron was at the gym. They really enjoy watching their mobiles these days. They each have one in their cribs, and we also have one in the pack 'n play. Aren't they the cutest?

We're cheering for the Dallas Cowboys tonight!

On another note, Aaron took me to a very nice restaurant in Fort Worth last night. It was called Ferre, and I'd definitely go back. It's especially nice if you were going to the Bass Hall, since it's right across the street. Aaron's mom and sister took care of the twins while we went out for a few hours. We're so lucky to have family close by!

Well Visit

Today was Bethany and Zachary's 2 month check-up and also their shots. He's now officially passed her in weight! She weighed in at 10 pounds, 4 ounces, and 22 inches long. He weighed 10 pounds, 11 ounces, and 22 inches long. We don't have to go back for another well visit until their 4 month check-up, and the doctor said Bethany and Zachary are both doing great!

New Year's Day Fun

Did you eat your black-eyed peas for good luck? We put the kids in bed a little before midnight on New Year's Eve, and they slept about 8 hours. I'd say our year's off to a super start!
