Jacob (Jake) Alexander Barbe was born Saturday to my friends, Kim and Sean. Kim and I have been friends our whole lives. We took some pictures at the hospital today (I really know my way around there).
Katie spent the night with us last night. She helped me make sugar cookies with pink sprinkles on top.
Curious George got to ride in the car with us on the way to church. Today was also Randal's first time in Cradle Roll. He was watching Ms. Angela very closely.
I think I'm going to take a break from blogging for a while. I'm looking forward to the holidays, and I'm sure I'll start my Christmas shopping soon. Next month we'll be going to Lubbock for the Texas Tech homecoming game. Both of our parents will be going on trips to celebrate their anniversaries, which means we'll be watching dogs. Rudy turns 2 on October 9th, so now you're all caught up!!!

Dancing Time
I love looking back at old pictures! My best friend from college is celebrating her 27th birthday today...this picture was taken 5 years ago at her wedding. Happy Birthday, Christi :)

Now, I always seem to post about Dancing with the Stars, so this year I'm sticking with Max and Misty May-Treanor.
I was pleasantly surprised last night with all the dancers, but there are some that need to go asap! If you missed the season premiere, you can see more dancing tonight on abc.

First Video
We took Netanya, who was our flower girl almost 4 years ago, to see the Rangers last night. I used to babysit her, and I'm sure she'll babysit for us someday!
I've finally tried posting a video, so here's part of the fireworks show from the game!
I also want to wish my mother-in-law a happy birthday. Sharon turned ? years old last week :) My dad is turning 58 this week, so we went out to lunch with them after church today. We stopped at a pet expo going on at the Grapevine Convention Center.
My parents are holding a puppy that looks a lot like their dog, Brady. Aaron has a goldendoodle, and no, we're not getting another dog!

What a game!
First, I love this weather...and I love football! The Cowboy game was so much fun to watch last night. Okay Travis, I've allowed myself to try two new shows, Fringe and Privileged. I'm liking Fringe because it reminds me of X-Files. It's very bazaar! Privileged reminds me of Gilmore Girls, which I loved. And it comes on right after 90210, so I'm set for the night!

If you haven't seen this show yet, give it a try :)

This and That
Thanks for all the comments on my last post. They put a smile on my face! Now onto the fall tv line-up :) I've already gotten into the new 90210! I'm also excited for the new season of Dancing with the Stars to start. I think I'll be rooting for Misty May-Treanor. We'll see! I'm looking forward to the show, Pushing Daisies, to come back...it's a quirky show. It's the last season for ER, and I can't stop watching it now! I'll also be watching The Office, Grey's Anatomy, and Desperate Housewives. I'm really looking forward to LOST, but I'll have to keep waiting. I'm not done yet: I'll also be watching Samantha Who, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Private Practice, as well as some other reality shows I'm sure! Am I addicted or what?

Monday Blues
Hmmm...what are my deep thoughts for today? I started this blogging thing almost a year ago, and I guess not much has changed. The fall shows are about to start up, so I guess I'll be talking about that, and the holidays are right around the corner, which is hard to believe! I don't want to sound depressive, but it sure is sad to think I've spent probably the last 30 months with one goal in mind, and that's to get pregnant. I'm going to be taking Provera and then checking my Progesterone level again, and then who knows after that, but I really don't want to talk about it anymore. I want to talk about happy things, so if you have any happy comments, please leave them!

Wonderful Weekend :)
We had another busy weekend, starting with a new family member being born on Friday. You can see more pictures of Haisley on April's blog. Congratulations April and Justin!
Us with the Cowart family of 3!
I promised to put a picture of my nephew, Randal, so here he is watching our tv.
We ended our weekend at the Ranger game...and got to enjoy it from an air conditioned suite!

My Niece
As you can see, we've started back at the preschool. I think it's going to be a great year! My niece is growing up so quickly. I guess I need to be taking more pictures of my nephew because he's a cutie too! I'll try to get some up to date photos of Randal :)
