Peekaboo...I see you!

Happy 16 months to my babies :)  I got some pictures of us playing after breakfast this morning.  Zachary is loving to play peekaboo right now, and you can see Bethany enjoys taking care of her dolly!

 

I've signed them up for mother's day out at our church this summer, which is just one day a week, and I'll be working there too.  I guess I'll have to start getting them used to just an afternoon nap...and I should probably work on Zachary only using his pacifier while sleeping.  They need to stop growing up so fast!

Is it spring yet?

On Friday, Zachary and Bethany will turn 16 months old.  He's started "catching up" to Bethany in a lot of ways lately.  I've just noticed little things like playing peekaboo and interacting with Rudy more.  Zach is so laid back, and most of the time he's happy entertaining himself.

Friday Photos

Yesterday was a day of firsts.  Bethany learned how to crawl on the fireplace, which I didn't get a picture of, but I did catch her making a mess in her room after lunch.  Doesn't she look guilty!?

Then we played in her room before going on a walk.  Have I mentioned Bethany's vocabulary is getting bigger every day?  We sing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and she actually points along with the words.  I'm sure Zachary will catch up to her one of these days, but for now, she's doing all the talking!

Today was Bethany and Zachary's first trip to the Fort Worth Zoo, and we couldn't have asked for better weather.  We went with some friends from church to celebrate Keegan's first birthday.  Here's us stopping to see the monkeys with Cohen Ross.

My Little Valentines

Happy Valentine's Day!  We spent yesterday afternoon playing outside at my parents' house and enjoying the beautiful day.  Thank goodness for the warmer weather!  I can feel spring getting closer.

Pitter-Patter

First, I have to thank my dad for bringing me lunch AND watching the kids for an hour while I went grocery shopping!  I can't believe we're supposed to get winter weather again tomorrow, so our kitchen is stocked just in case.  Bethany and Zachary L-O-V-E playing in the kitchen, especially at the doggy door.  Here's a video of them walking around this afternoon.

More Snow

Thank goodness Aaron's been home most of the day today!  Like many of you, I haven't left the house since Monday night.  We've been playing a lot, and the nice part about twins is they always have a playmate.  Aaron went to Lubbock for work on Wednesday and got back Thursday, after his plane was delayed a couple of hours.  I'm thankful he made it there and back safely...and he was able to stop at Walmart on the way home for diapers and wipes!  Here are some more pictures from today.

Happy Groundhog Day :)

Punxsutawney Phil predicts an early end to winter, but we're still stuck inside.  The kids don't seem to mind...they're just playing as usual.  They didn't even notice our 15-20 minutes without power during the rolling blackout.  I just put them down for a nap, so I guess I'll go get under a blanket and do a little reading!

Snow Day

I took the kids outside for about a minute, and they weren't too thrilled with the snow!  They're much happier inside, but Rudy would love to play all day.  Maybe when Daddy gets home!
