Jury Duty

What a day! When I walked into the jury room this morning, I actually saw a familiar face. It was an ex-boyfriend's sister (from high school). Haha! We talked, which passed the time, and when I was called...of-course our time to report back wasn't until 1:00. I hung out in Barnes & Noble, drank a Grande Starbucks drink, and then got back in time to sit a couple of more hours until being dismissed. I enjoyed myself though. This is the first time I got to go into the courtroom! Yesterday I bought Jon & Kate's new book, Multiple Blessings, and I've already read half of it. That's a good day in my opinion.

They stayed with us and came to church on Sunday.Brian, Christi, Jackson, and Baby Stark! The best picture I could get of Katie and Jackson at church. Here's Aaron working on our carved pumpkin for the Sunday night fellowship. We won the award for most creative!

It's a pumpkin carving of Rudy! Doesn't he look excited?

Pumpkin Art

Halloween is so much fun! You get to sing silly songs, dress up, and don't forget about the candy :) Anyway, our preschool is having a pumpkin decorating contest. So after church tonight, we let Katie start painting her pumpkin creation. Stay tuned for more pictures!

LOL

My doctor's appointment went amazingly well! I started taking the Femara tonight, and Dr. White said we'd try it for 3 or 4 months. This video highlight came from AFV. Aaron will laugh so hard it brings him to tears, which makes me laugh even more! This will totally be him someday :)

Don't forget to VOTE!

Today was the first day of early voting, so I went between working at the preschool and working at the chiropractor's. Guess what else, I already got an appointment with my new doctor, Dr. White! It's tomorrow afternoon, and I've been going through my medical records and different things to try to figure out when I did tests, took certain medicines, etc. If I had to tell someone what to do in the beginning, it would be to keep better records...don't count on the doctor's office to do it for you! That's my soap box for today.

Texas State Fair

My parents went with us to the state fair today. They hadn't been in ages! It was fun, as you can see from my husband's expression...Can you believe it's less than 10 weeks until Christmas? I've officially started my shopping, but the hardest part is coming up with MY list. I can never think of things I need/want! So, what's on your wish list?

Femara

What is it? It's "the most recent addition to the drugs being used for fertility treatment" and compared with Clomid, it produces healthier pregnancies, a lower chance of miscarriage, and I want to take it! So, after a lot of research on Femara, I'm switching doctors. That's the plan anyway. Aaron's aunt works for Dr. White who has an office in Grapevine and Keller (which is much closer to me). She's been doing some investigation work, and it's just time to see a new doctor. It's so frustrating to explain your story to new nurses and never get to see your own doctor, so today was the last day with Dr. Robert's office.
For those of you who are DWTS fans, I wasn't surprised to see Rocco go, but now it's definitely time for Cloris to say bye! She's been there WAY too long :)

Dancing Update

I'm baaaaack, after a request from my Abilene friends :) I was totally bummed about Misty May getting hurt on Dancing with the Stars, so now I'm rooting for Brooke Burke.Although, Aaron likes Warren Sapp...and Rocco, but I'm pretty sure they won't win! On another note, I got Aaron and some other couples from church to go see Fireproof. It's a movie starring Kirk Cameron. The acting is cheesy, but the message is good. I highly recommend it!
