Shower #4

Yesterday was my fourth and final baby shower. I'm so blessed to have such wonderful friends! It was great to see some girls from high school (and their moms). Here I am with Jackie, Donna Jo, Emily, Becca, and Christa!

Earlier this week we celebrated my dad's 59th birthday.

Now I've made it to 31 weeks, and Friday we'll have a sonogram!

Super Tired

I've got a whole list of things to do, but I'm beyond tired. Here I am at 30 WEEKS!Our goal, according to the doctor, is 36 weeks. I'd like to make it a week or two into November. We'll see how it goes! Our next appointment is on October 2nd. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy seems to be flying by! Aaron's parents are in Greece right now, so we're taking care of their dog. This is the dog they got when Aaron was in high school. Even though he's older, he still likes to play. Rudy's not too sure about having him around all the time. I think I've turned him into a lazy dog because we usually spend our days laying around together.

Kidney Stones

After going to the doctor Tuesday and again today, it seems I've got another kidney stone. I'll just have to wait it out, drink a lot, and deal with the pain. I also did my glucose test today, and the orange drink wasn't bad at all! I'm just glad it's over, and now I can focus on making it just a little over 6 more weeks. I can't believe we're on the homestretch!

Shower #3

Our church shower was yesterday, and I have to say a BIG thank you to each and every one of you who helped make it so special. I'm also thankful to have friends who would travel from Abilene and even Nashville to make our day more memorable! I have the best husband too, who spent his afternoon helping me open presents! Aaron said it sounded like a flock of seagulls as he came up the stairs to the shower :) My friend, Christi, and her family spent the night with us on Saturday. I finally got a belly shot picture with her at my parents' house!

Another hostess...Kylea makes 11 in all. A sample of the cute stuff we got. Angie gets induced on Wednesday! My car was packed completely full!

TGIF

I guess my belly looks bigger today! As I was running errands, I got asked several times about being pregnant...and then when they find out it's twins, it sparks even more conversation :) I got my toenails painted since it's too hard to bend over and paint them myself, and she wanted to know all about the in vitro process. Then I went to the mall because it's Clinique bonus week! The lady helping me said the same thing, "You sure look small for having twins." I've almost gained 20 pounds, so I definitely feel big! I even got asked by the Arby's drive thru lady when I was due. On another note, Aaron came home from work last night with two dozen red roses (thanks to his boss) because I'm such a supportive wife. They won a project in Lubbock, which they've been working very hard on, so that's good news. Tomorrow I'm having our house cleaned, and then we've got friends coming into town for Sunday's baby shower at church. It's gong to be another FUN weekend!!!

Squash

We've made it to squash!

Wow...I can't believe we're at 28 weeks. Our babies each weigh about 2.5 pounds, which is right where they're supposed to be. My friend, Natalie, will be having twin boys in about 2 weeks. We went to college together, and she's much better at posting her consistent belly shots :) I know she'd appreciate any prayers on her behalf!

Shower #2

What a day! We got to open more presents at the shower hosted by Sharon, Ashley, Karen, April, and Kay. Thank y'all so much!The diaper cake April made us. Aaron's apron (thanks to Aunt Stephanie).
