Here's what Rudy did today:
Ever since Rudy turned a year old, we've been leaving him out of his cage during the day. He's been doing fine...until today. I came home to a shredded pillow (I guess he got bored)! This is what he used to do to his beds until we got smart enough to put carpet in the bottom of his cage. Dogs are a lot like preschoolers, as I'm finding out, because it's hard to explain to them what they did wrong. You still love them though 'cause they're just so darn cute! I guess we'll keep letting him sleep with us in our bed. Us and a 54 pound labradoodle, one big happy family!

UGH...that's no fun! Brings back memories of some things our old dog chewed up, including our couch! You're right...you still love them though.
WOW, what a thing to come home to! Josie has had a few times like that. I remember one time my grandma was visiting and she had bought a candle that she left in a sack on the bench in our living room. I guess Josie liked the smell of it because when we got back from going out to dinner she had chewed a big chunk out of it. Oh well - it's hard to stay angry at them! I guess that's why God gave them those adorable puppy dog eyes.
Yikes! Hope you weren't too attached to the pillow!!
Amber - I was just catching up on your blog and read that you are going to see Dr. Kaufman in Ft. W. My dear friend from high school - tried for 6 years, saw Dr. Kaufman and is due 4weeks before me. She loved him! I am so excited for you - please keep us posted. For her, it was something so simple... I hope it will be for you as well. Love you!
