Even dogs are sorry!

I love Rudy, but let me tell you what he did last night. Aaron went to bed probably 30 minutes before me. I was watching the rest of ER (between that and LOST, this has been a good week for tv). So, I hear Rudy chewing in the bedroom, but it sounded like he was biting his nails, which he does a lot. I stayed in the living room watching my show, but when I finally went in the bedroom I saw what he had been working on. Our comforter had a hole, which was now a much bigger hole. The stuffing was out (and my husband's snoozing right next to it). I, of-course, say no more sleeping with us and put Rudy in his cage. Yeah right...at about 3 or so in the morning I can hear Rudy whining. It sounded so pitiful! I ignored it until he got louder, so I got up, took him potty, and once inside he immediately ran onto our bed. He cuddled and licked both of us as if to say, I'm sorry! It reminded me of him as a puppy. Here's some flash back pictures of our Rudy, who has always been a chewer!

Sucker! The tongue licking of obedience has once again turned pet into master. What can these doggie teeth destroy now! MwaHaWoof!!!

Our dog chews on everything too! It's so frustrating. The worst he has done so far is eat small parts out of our couch. I was not happy!

Our dog, Cooper, ate a hole in our comforter too! What is it with dogs and chewing?! Thank goodness the hole was in a place we can cover it up with pillows. Do you get a new comforter out of the ordeal?...b/c that would be fun!
